Presently, these free flu vaccinations are available at over 7,200 locations of CVS/pharmacy and nearly 600 locations of Minute Clinics. Pharmacists of CVS and physician/nurse practitioners of Minute Clinic provide Flu shots every day without any appointment. According to CDC, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, everyone (with age of six months and above) should have to take flu shot quickly, also including those people who were vaccinated in last season.

Flu shots of CVS/pharmacy are accomplished in the pharmacy area behind a privacy screen and flu shots of Minute Clinic are conducted in a private exam room. Direct Relief got prestigious power through the Partnerships Award from the National Association of Community Health Centers. Damon Taugher, Director of Direct Relief USA, said Direct Relief USA is pleased by partnership with CVS Caremark for the 2nd straight year and the network build by Direct Relief with collaboration of community clinics and health centers nationwide enables CVS Caremark to reach people who need help.
