How to Support India Against Corruption?

Corruption is simply defined as immorality or dishonesty. Nowadays corruption is a common thing everywhere for everybody, whether it is a scam of a million dollars or a few hundred rupees! People do not consider that they are doing something wrong and even they don't feel guilty after openly done it. Everybody knows that it is legally and openly done by great politicians of our nation. This is only due to our legal system which so openly allows releasing the corrupt on bail, instead of hanging them till death! The constitutional laws need to be modified for preventing India Against Corruption.

How to Support India Against Corruption?
India Against Corruption, a movement for inclusive reorganization of anti-corruption laws by several anger and worried citizens of India. They come together for diminishing the dark corridor of authority. Ensuring a strong JanLokpal bill is the main hub of IAC movement. The JanLokpal Bill which aspires to hamper the corruption, also named as the citizens’ ombudsman bill. According to Jan Lokpal Bill, investigations into any case should be finished within one year and the trial should pass though the next 1 year so that a corrupt person goes to jail and get a punishment within 2 years of complaint. Indian Parliament never passed the Lokpal bills, although the bills were introduced a number of times since 1968. The IAC is a harshly voluntary association and theIAC code of conduct is given to its participants.


Anna Hazare, a 71-year-old and one of the well-liked figures in the country, fights to end the increasing corruption in the India. This Magsaysay award winner Gandhian social activist is a single survivor in his unit of soldiers, in 1965 Indo-Pak war. Anna’s life is devoted to the welfare of society. He lives in a temple; he has no bank balance and no property. He forced the government to enact the Maharashtra RTI Act and Corrupt - 6 ministers and 400 officers were dismissed by the Maharashtra government, due to his fast.  He did an indefinite fast in 2006, when Indian government tried to amend the Central RTI Act, and forced the govt of India not to amend RTI Act. The Anti-corruption movement started by Anna Hazare is being popular amongst all Indians, and is wide spreading all over the world with the help of social media. Today every single common man, Leader and organization of India is with Anna. Thousands and millions of people nationwide are supporting Anna.

Now this is our time to support Anna to make his great efforts for anti-corruption valuable. Team Anna Hazare and other Lokpal supporters have started various websites like 'India Against Corruption' and forums to collect more support to force govt to pass a strong Lokpal Bill. To join the protest against the corruption, you can login to this website. Social networking sites like Google Plus, Twitter and Facebook spread the message of peaceful protest against corruption. Most of the Facebook users are changing their profile image to Anna Hazare or adding insignia with slogan like "India Against Corruption" and "I support Anna". IAC has its pages on Twitter and Facebook. The  IAC Twitter page has supporters nearly 50,000 and on this page; the words like 'lokpal', 'indiaagainstcorruption', 'annahazare', 'janlokpal', are trended.The IAC Facebook page has supporters more than 3, 30,000 plus and on this page; details about protest marches occurring in various parts of our country are posted by followers. YouTube, a video sharing website is also busy with videos demanding support for Anna and his fight against corruption.

Across all over India, students, Activists, women, lawyers and BJP workers come out on the streets to join the IAC movement. Now you have to choose your level of involvement in this movement to lend your talent and your time to free India from Corruption. Being a part of this historic movement, under the guidance of Anna Hazare, we all have to fight for the “Jan Lokpal Bill”.

Swami Ramdev, Swami Agnivesh, Arvind Kejriwal,  Sri Sri Ravishankar, Prashant Bhushan, Arch Bishop Vincent Concessao, Kiran Bedi, Mahmood A Madani, Sunita Godara, J M Lyngdoh, Mallika Sarabhai, Shanti Bhushan, Arun Bhatia, Mufti Shamoom Qasmi, PAN IIT Alumni Association, All India Bank Employees Federation and many other famous associations and leaders are supporting this movement.  Aruna Roy, member of National Advisory Council (NAC) gives her full support to Anna in Jaipur and saying that the Lokpal Bill requires wider consultation. In Bangalore, 4 techies and MBAs went on the fast and even people rallied in support of Anna. In Mumbai, 25 people joined indefinite hunger fast in the support of Hazare.
